Encrypting Files using XP Professional

To encrypt a file using Win XP Pro, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, and Windows Explorer. Right click the file you want to encrypt and click Properties. Under the General tab, select the advanced button. Select Encrypt Contents to Secure Data checkbox and click OK. Click OK to close the file's Properties dialog box.
