Enable screen saver password

Time Required: 1 Minute, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes

Notes: Make sure that you have a password set for the user that will have the password on resume. (You will know that you have a password if you are required to enter one to log into Windows.)

How to do it:

  • Navigate to Start > Control Panel (Click on Control Panel).
  • Click on "Appearance and Themes".
  • Click on "Display".
  • Click the "Screen Saver" tab at the top.
  • Note: Make sure you have a screen saver. <L I ô>Check the "On resume, password protect" box.
  • Note: Your password will be the password you use to log onto Windows.
