Free up some diskspace

Time Required: 1 Minute, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes

Notes: Doing the following tweak will free up as much disk-space as the amount of RAM you have installed. It will disable hibernation.

How to do it:

  • Navigate to Start > Control Panel (Click on Control Panel).
  • Click on "Performance and Maintenance".
  • Click on "Power Options".
  • Click the "Hibernation" tab.
  • In the "Hibernate" box, deselect "Enable Hibernation".
