Disable automatic updates

How to do it:

• Navigate to Start > Control Panel (Click on Control Panel).
• Click "Performance and Maintenance".
• Click "Administrative Tools".
• Double-click "Services".
• Double-click "Automatic Updates" (it's near the top of the list of services in the right-hand pane).
• In the drop-down menu-box labeled "Startup type", select "Disabled". (Note: "Startup type" is in the middle of the whole box).
• Click OK.
• Close the "Servies" window.
