Disable the Windows XP firewall

Time Required: 1 Minute, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes

Notes: The built in Windows XP firewall is by no means sufficient if you do not have any other way to protect yourself from the internet. Please do not disable the XP firewall if you don't have any other way to protect yourself.

How to do it:

• Navigate to Start > Control Panel (Click on Control Panel).
• Click "Administrative Tools".
• Click "Services".
• Scroll down to the service called "Internet Connection Firewall".
• Right-click the service and click disable.
